Dont’a Hightower Misses Third Straight Patriots Practice; Eric Rowe Also Absent
Gronkowski, who is one of nine Patriots listed as questionable this week, appears truly iffy for Sunday’s contest at this stage, despite logging limited practices all week.

New England Patriots linebacker Dont’a Hightower was not at practice on Friday, which means that he missed the full week of work.
Hightower is dealing with a knee injury sustained early in the team’s Week 1 win over Arizona.
Hightower limped off the field, missed the first three snaps of the ensuing drive, before returning to play every snap the rest of the game (58 of 61 snaps played). Without practicing this week, it seems unlikely that Hightower will play Sunday against the Dolphins. Cornerback Malcolm Butler, wide receiver Chris Hogan, tackle Marcus Cannon, defensive lineman Trey Flowers, guard Shaq Mason and linebacker Shea McClellin round out the group with that designation.

Elsewhere on the Patriots’ injury report, newly acquired cornerback Eric Rowe was ruled out (ankle) after being spotted walking with the aid of crutches.
