Doubts about Bale’s fitness ahead of Champions League final
All eyes will be on Cardiff on Saturday for the Champions League Final and there’s little doubt with so much talent on display we could be set for fireworks in the Welsh Capital.

Gareth Bale attended Real Madrid Television on Media Day in Valdebebas and looked ahead to Saturday’s Champions League final against Juventus which takes place in his hometown, Cardiff.
At the moment, Bale admits that his ability to play in the key game for Madrid is still questionable at best.
“The decision is hard because everyone is available and I will have to choose between the entire squad”.
“The two of them are very good players”, he added.
“They have a lot of good players”.
“It’s the last game of the season for us, and in my opinion it’s the most important”.
“Whatever decision (Zidane) makes, that’s final”. This is the thing that hurts me the most. I don’t think there are two different approaches. Obviously the team have helped a lot.
The Portugal manager also praised Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane for the way he has managed his game time this season, saying: “Now I’m better physically than in other seasons”. He missed the second leg of the quarterfinal against Bayern Munich and both semifinal matches against Atletico Madrid because of problems stemming from the injury.
On Tuesday, he said he has recovered but still wasn’t at “100 percent”.
If Dani Alves plays further forward or further back, it doesn’t change anything. He has been able to rest key players who are normally starters. He even argued that they have done so as many as 16 times.
With Gareth Bale’s return to fitness, Zidane must decide whether to restore the Welshman in his home city or to continue with Isco, who has excelled lately, in support of the free-scoring Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. “They all deserve to play, but they can not all play”. Anything can happen in a final, but we’re sure we’ll play a great game and win. “You were the best player in the world, and now you are simply the best coach in the world”, said Perez, in the ceremony, “Thank you, Zizou, for everything that you have given us and for everything that you are still giving us”.

The highly rated boss is expected to field a 4-2-3-1 formation, where Andrea Barzagli will start at right back and Dani Alves will operate as a winger. “We need to wait and see what happens but the good news is that we have a number of options”.
