Doug Baldwin is Russell Wilson’s main target in win over Miami

The Seahawks’ defense had to hold on at the end for a final stop to put an end to the game and cling to their two-point lead Russell gave the team by tossing a two-yard touchdown pass to receiver Doug Baldwin with less than a minute left.

The Dolphins had multiple chances to win a game, somehow overcome big mistakes to have a lead late, yet still lost.

Russell Wilson suffered a sprained ankle in Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins, but Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll indicated on Monday that the injury will not force the quarterback to miss a game.

Rawls was playing his first real game since breaking his ankle in December and “came out great”, Carroll said.

On October 6, 2014, against the Washington Redskins, Wilson set a new Monday Night Football record for rushing yards by a quarterback in a single game with 122. When done talking, he went out to the empty practice field and starting tossing that ball in the air to himself. “They’re not injuries but things that have bothered him and stuff”.

Branch on the other hand joined the Dolphins this offseason after playing four-seasons in Jacksonville. I think we did a pretty good job.

A national controversy that began on the West Coast and extended to the Pacific Northwest grew Sunday when four members of the Miami Dolphins kneeled during the national anthem as the National Football League attempted to mark the 15th anniversary of September 11 in solemn fashion.

MIAMI’S VICE: Tannehill was 16 of 29 for 186 yards, but Miami twice drove inside the Seattle 20 and failed to come away with points.

Instead, Stills said he was going to use the mishap as motivation. Some players would walk past and enter the conversation, some were sleeping and some were in it the whole time.

“We encourage all members of our organization to stand at attention during the national anthem out of respect and appreciation for the freedoms we are afforded as Americans”. “There’s no disrespect, there’s no hard feelings, there’s no hatred, there’s none of that”.

The acquisition of the Nick Saban disciple in Gase, was a much needed and smart move by Miami who has had a coaching carousel for far too long. We’re going to stay with what we’re doing and do the things that we do and expect to get better. The Seahawks won the coin toss, and the offense took the field.

Stills dropped what would have been a 71-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill early in the second quarter on Sunday. “We got him out there, got him started, and now we’ll be able to get a lot more play time from him.”.
