The “Smart Reply” feature in the app suggests responses to chats and can be send with just a tap. The more you use Google Assistant, the more useful it becomes by remembering your preferences and information you ask it to. Messages sent in Incognito mode have end-to-end encryption. The app is now live in selected geographical regions including India, while the company said that it would be rolled out worldwide in the coming days. Smart Reply suggests responses based on your conversation – just click the one you want, without having to type a thing. It contains all the typical features of today’s messaging apps: stickers, access to images, and adjusting font sizes. This integration will also allow you to work one-on-one with the app as if it were an assistant.

Users can also use stickers and scribble on photos before sending them. When you chat in Incognito mode, messages have end-to-end encryption and additional privacy features like discreet notifications and message expiration.

Google told me that it made this change after the company pushed the app out to wide testing around the company; it found that the experience was better when it saved chat history for longer.

Google Allo makes messaging more efficient with its many features.

To counter the likes of WhatsApp and Hike Messenger, technology giant Google has launched its own version of a messaging app called Google Allo for the Android and iOS platforms.

A Digital Assistant, an extension of its primary offering: the Google Search. Google’s eventual plan is to have the chatty Google Assistant available in other Google products as well over time, with Allo just the first step. We’ll have to wait until Allo is actually available to put those features to the test and see how Allo stacks up to the competition, though.
