Even if it does work, you might still end up needing not only the Belkin adapter, but also the 3.5-mm audio adapter that came with your iPhone 7, and a Lightning-to-USB adapter, both of which would plug into the Belkin one.

With the traditional headphone jack gone, Apple expects iPhone 7 owners to use headphones sporting a Lightning connector-like the EarPods included in the box, Bluetooth earphones, or their current wired headphones with the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter that’s also included.
Many have argued that Apple’s goal is to save space inside the iPhone for newer technologies, as well as convince customers that it might be worth spending $159 on the company’s new wireless AirPod headphones. And for the iPhone 7 Plus, you’ll have to wait until November. There aren’t any iPhone 7 Plus models (at least that I could find) that will ship on the same date at this point.
Unfortunately, Apple now lists the “Jet Black” iPhone 7 as dispatching in “two to three weeks”.
It seems to be (largely) the same sad story for carriers, too. “Redington India will offer iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, beginning October 7, in 3,000 retail locations across the country”.
O2 has no stock of the iPhone 7 (128GB) in “Jet Black”, but says it can deliver the iPhone 7 (256GB) in “Jet Black” by September 16.

These are the options we’ve seen so far, but there are sure to be more on the way. The new products are water resistant, and the iPhone 7 has new cameras. Let us know in the comments.
