Dozens Injured After Fence Collapses at Snoop Dogg Concert in New Jersey
City of Camden spokesman Vincent Basara said code enforcement officials inspected the railing Saturday morning and found areas that were broken and damaged. The incident occurred about 10.30pm while both performers were on stage at the amphitheatre. Several fan videos show Snoop and Wiz yelling for the crowd to “Stand Up!” and then suddenly the railing gives way and people start falling down like dominoes. Emergency crews were called out to the BB&T Pavilion around 10:11 p.m. on Friday night.

The railing separated fans from a sloping area that leads to a concrete walkway. The lawn section is elevated a few feet above a concrete path and is blocked off with a metal railing.
Concertgoer Katie Colbridge said the event, which was about halfway finished, stopped abruptly when the accident happened.
It was later canceled. One person remained hospitalized and dozens of other injured after the collapse.
Ambulances rushed to the scene after fans went tumbling to the ground when a fence collapsed during Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s “High Road” tour. Snoop and Wiz are ushered off the stage as security moved in to help the fans.
Live Nation, which operates the venue, said Saturday that it had “secured” the affected section of railing and was working to determine the cause of the collapse. He says he wishes more positive films and TV shows would be made about African-Americans.
Most of the injuries are said to be minor.

BB&T and Live Nation will install permanent railings to replace what collapsed, he said, and the city will inspect the permanent fixtures.
