Dr Dre Announces New Album ‘Compton A Soundtrack’ Featuring Kendrick Lamar And

50-year old Dr Dre (Andre Romelle Young) is the founder of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics.

Last week, Ice Cube “casually” let it slip during a radio interview that Dr. Dre was coming out with a new album on August 1.

In addition to producing hits for some of the most popular acts in hip-hop, Dre has also become the industry’s most successful businessman. Despite the film being three years away, theres been a lot of chatter lately about who will direct the solo film. He also landed a Grammy Award for the single Let Me Ride. His last album was “2001” released in 1999. It’s not certain what will happen, but the soundtrack to “Straight Outta Compton” might just turn out to be what “Detox” would’ve been in another place in another world. “No question. We had a lot of conversations about it. I had to think about the relationship we had”. The image for the album was a pic of the Compton sign from behind captioned; August 7 #Compton. “It’s bananas. It’s an ‘inspired by” album. The album will be exclusive to Apple, available to buy on iTunes or stream on Apple Music.
