Dr. Dre Says “Detox” Is Scrapped, “Compton: The Soundtrack” Out Next Week
Even so, there have been many eyebrows raised on Wednesday as rapper Ice Cube talked about that Dr Dre can be releasing a brand new album over the weekend.

Dr. Dre’s now hosting a Beats 1 radio show called “The Pharamacy”, and as expected, he used the occasion to announce something about the upcoming soundtrack to Straight Outta Compton. Now at 50 years-old, Dr. Dre has quite a few popular albums under his belt, including “2001”, which he released in 1999 and “The Chronic” released in 1992.
“It’s going to be my grand finale”, Dr. Dre told his listeners on his show following the announcement.
