TMZ noted that the man had then said “here we go again another black guy with a gun”, as Dre was grabbing his phone, and soon after he called 911 to report that Dre had a gun!

The 51-year-old rap legend found himself surrounded by deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department at the front gate of his Malibu, California mansion, where he was cuffed as authorities questioned him and patted him down.

Dre was seen speaking with deputies after he’d asked a driver blocking his driveway to move prompting the guy to start yelling at him and then claim Dre had a gun.

While Dr. Dre was not arrested by police, the motorist initiated a “private person’s arrest” of Dr. Dre for misdemeanor brandishing a firearm.

According to TMZ Dr. Dre was handcuffed and searched outside his Malibu home in an apparent road rage incident. The report will go to the District Attorney, who will determine if the biker’s claims constitute a case against the good doctor.

He continues to record his music as well as branching out into acting and producing.

OK, that headline may have been lacking in professional tone, but it’s hard to express what Dr. Dre had to endure this afternoon in any other way.

Vital Signs will be based on his own life story.

The racist language reportedly continued, inspiring the hip hop star to pull out his smartphone and video the fuming driver.
