Dr. James Dobson: Trump a ‘Baby Christian’ Who Recently Accepted Christ
Will you stand with us and make a donation today to this important effort? . Perhaps most worrying for Trump and the GOP are surveys showing that his support among white evangelical Christians – the key to Republican electoral success in November – is not almost as strong as it needs to be for him to win.

According to Politico, they’ll meet regularly – they were also not asked to officially endorse Trump to be on the advisory group.
Perkins made his comments during a press conference following a meeting between Trump and hundreds of religious leaders. They called him “a misogynist” and a “philanderer” and listed down many of Trump’s offensive actions, such as speaking “insults, obscenities, and untruths”.
Trump has made several moves recently to broaden his appeal among evangelical Christians.
“Some of the people are saying ‘let’s pray for our leaders.’ I said, ‘You can pray for your leaders, and I agree with that, pray for everyone”.
“We have one candidate who says he will support the things that are important to us and one candidate who promises she won’t”, Moore said, adding, though, that he and numerous others on the executive committee would be more than willing to serve on a similar board for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton if she expressed interest in their insights.
Moore, who is among those serving on Trump’s evangelical executive board alongside former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, Faith and Freedom Coalition founder Ralph Reed and many others, said that the board’s objective is to offer advice to the campaign and to help build a “consistent dialogue between Mr. Trump and the evangelical community”. “We can’t be, again, politically correct and say we pray for all of our leaders, because all of your leaders are selling Christianity down the tubes, the Evangelicals down the tubes, and it’s a very, very. bad thing”.
Ms. Clinton has, at least on one occasion during the primary campaign, explained in some detail her faith, in response to a question during a town hall.
This is a day of mourning.
But Trump is cognizant of the need for support from evangelicals. “What we are seeing is an assault on American values that affects the church and the pro-life movement”, Blackburn tells TIME.
Trump then addressed the larger group of close to 1,000 people during a panel moderated by former Arkansas Gov.
First, Trump addressed a question from Dr. James Dobson about what he will do as President to protect religious liberties.
“So there is much to be learned and I have been very disappointed and sorry that Christianity, which has such great love at its core, is sometimes used to condemn so quickly and judge so harshly”.
The reaction from AFA’s Tim Wildmon was a bit more mixed. Now, she’s been in the public eye for years and years, and yet there’s no – there’s nothing out there. He also said he knew who led the businessman to Christ. This meeting was meant to try to ease evangelicals’ concerns about his candidacy.
And therein lies the rub: Trump is eager to get in the movement’s good graces (no pun intended), but it might take some time before leading social conservatives warm up to the Republican.
Trump spoke to Christian conservatives in New York City Tuesday to rally their support against Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
“I’m so on your side, I’m a tremendous believer, and we’re gonna straighten it out”, Trump said. “May God help us'”.
