‘Dr. Oz’ looks over his head in Donald Trump interview

Donald Trump is “healthy enough to be president”, according to Dr. Mehmet Oz, whose only apparent issue with the Republican nominee was that he could afford to lose a few pounds (and in our unprofessional medical opinion, find a new form of exercise). Trump’s doctor said the candidate is in “excellent physical health” and has the “stamina” to serve as president.

The medical revelation comes following the collapse of his Democrat rival Hillary Clinton at the 9/11 memorial event in NY, and the subsequent pneumonia diagnosis that prompted her to release additional medical information. The letter, which is signed by his personal doctor, was given to the Washington Post.

The figure is a “cume” household number encompassing double runs of The Dr. Oz Show, SPT said.

Trump Jr. also said that as a Republican running as an outsider, “every day, everyone’s throwing everything they could possibly throw at him”.

Bornstein, who practices medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, wrote that Trump has healthy blood pressure of 116/70, healthy blood sugar levels, normal liver and thyroid function, and enviable cholesterol numbers.

Dr Bornstein said the GOP candidate was in excellent physical health.

The blandness of Thursday’s letter is in contrast to the parody of a doctor’s note Dr. Bornstein released last December.

Before that, Trump told the women of The View, “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her”. She has undergone routine screenings including a mammogram, breast ultrasound, full cardiac evaluation based on family history, gynecologic exam and coronary calcium levels, and found to have normal results for all tests.

Trump’s is reported to be 99, or at the very top of the normal range.

Trump’s testosterone level is 441.6, also within the normal range.

Trump brandished his latest medical letter with the usual showmanship.

Trump’s activity comes as Democratic rival Hillary Clinton is returning to the campaign trail following a bout of pneumonia.

“You mentioned you don’t want people dying on the streets”, Oz said during the episode that aired on Thursday, as CBS News’ Sopan Deb pointed out. He said that when he’s with the 39-year-old, “I feel I’m the same age as him”. You think Hillary would be able to stand up here for an hour and do this?
