Draft Biden PAC to run first ad, urging ‘Joe, Run’
Many have speculated that because of this, and perhaps his experiences in the White House thus far, he hasn’t the heart or care to run for the 2016 Presidential spot.

‘If Democrats decide to go with Joe Biden, it will not be because of a debate, ‘ the operative said. Former Obama senior advisor David Axelrod called it “tasteless” and “exploitative”. By the standard used to judge Clinton’s “why” answer, Biden would seem to be just as vulnerable. And just this morning, a new poll shows Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton still in the lead but losing ground in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Clinton has the worst ratings of any of the candidates tested on the question. “Calling on the people of each of these states to demand change that they think has already happened is not going to be as hard as you think”. Recent reports indicate Biden is likely to make a decision within the week about whether he’ll get into the race.
Launched in March in the Chicago living room of 27-year-old William Pierce, a young political operative who is now the group’s executive director, Draft Biden has three goals: re-introduce voters to Biden and his accomplishments, build a grassroots organization, and raise money.
The ad was first released on YouTube on Wednesday, but it will also broadcast on national television audience on October 13, the day of the first 2016 Democratic debate, reports ABC News.
Last weekend, Biden and Clinton spoke at separate Human Rights Campaign events, a rare instance of the two courting the same key Democratic constituency in close proximity.
Klein said his source added “there is one caveat”. That was the message of the Carter campaign. “I will never lie to you”, Jimmy Carter boasted on the stump. Earlier this week, Biden’s office pushed back aggressively against suggestions that Biden leaked word to a newspaper columnist of his son’s dying wish for him to run in an attempt to galvanize political support. Democrats have since turned against using the fuzzy concept of character as a test for candidate fitness.
“It’s an unfortunate side-effect of this trade policy because Joe Biden is beloved in the labor community”, said Chuck Rocha, a longtime labor organizer and Democratic consultant. That doesn’t mean there won’t be specifics discussed about wages and health care and the US role overseas.

This is not an unalloyed good for Biden. “Many people have gone through things like that”, Biden’s voice, taken from a past speech, says in the background. While those numbers may not stay so cheery if Biden does join the race and he’s subjected to negative media attention and attack ads from the other candidates, they are solid evidence that he’d be a strong contender to beat Clinton in the primaries.
