The story was first reported in the Los Angeles Times, which quoted a source close to Biden as saying he thought the ad “treads on sacred ground”.

As the Draft Biden ad began to run, Alexander declared: “All that’s missing is the candidate”.
“We are on the cusp of a few of the most astonishing breakthroughs in the history of mankind – scientific, technological, socially”.
But a Democrat with knowledge of Draft Biden’s strategy said Alcorn – Beau’s former finance guru – is still in the Biden orbit and the vice president’s people never told him his time would be better spent doing something else, like raising money for the newly formed Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children. “But Biden outperforms Clinton in general election match-ups in those critical swing states”.
Vice-President Joe Biden has garnered considerable good will from the United States public following the death earlier this year of his son Beau of brain cancer at age 46. “A lot of them are running for president”.
The vice president’s office has stopped commenting for the record on reports of an imminent announcement. “Even implicitly his campaign’s argument would be “I have integrity and you don’t, ‘” the ally added”. The latest poll, conducted by USA Today, found 41 percent of 430 “likely” Democratic primary and caucus voters said they would vote for Clinton, 23 percent for Sanders, 20 percent for Biden. “I have no reason to believe that he will, but with Joe, anything can happen”.

All that’s missing is the candidate. My dad’s definition of success is when you look at your son or daughter and realize they turned out better than you.
The PAC has committed to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to run the ad on US cable networks.
New York magazine, which broke the story, reports that Hillary aide David Brock-who leads a number of pro-Hillary organizations-has been stockpiling opposition research to take down Biden.
“This is just standard opposition research”, he said last month. “When I first saw the ad my reaction is different”. If he wants to run for president, many Democrats will welcome him to the grand argument.
COLBERT: No? Because that would be pretty smart, man.
Biden’s, by contrast, were the highest of any pol tested by Quinnipiac. In Florida, a stunning 71 percent said Biden was honest and trustworthy – double Clinton’s numbers on this question – and even 63 percent of Republicans agreed.

Several activists called out as the Vice President reached the podium, urging him to step into the 2016 race for the White House. When Biden pronounced the signing of Obamacare a “BFD” in 2010, people laughed, but coming from someone who has spent many decades in the trenches of major policy battles, it somehow conveyed just how big a “BFD” we should understand it to be.
