These new products are, for the first time, enabling seamless synchronization of key Dragon features across PC, Mac, iOS, and Android through the cloud, ensuring that organizations and individual professionals can remain productive wherever work takes them, by accessing a consistent, customized dictation experience on any device.

Designed for the mobile workforce, Dragon Anywhere brings professional-grade continuous dictation to iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, enabling users to create and edit complete reports and documents, capture detailed notes, and more, while on the go.

Nuance says its latest Dragon-branded products will improve productivity and efficiency for lawyers, social workers and other professionals, especially when they’re out of the office. “And the time saved from using Dragon is time people gain back in their day to either focus more on clients, growing their business or finding more of the work-life balance they have struggled to achieve”.
“The time-consuming nature of documentation and paperwork can place considerable productivity constraints on organizations and individual professionals alike”, said Peter Mahoney, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Dragon.
Professionals can dictate information while it is fresh in their minds from a site visit, inspection or other field work to produce more accurate and detailed reports.
Nuance did not say if current users of Dragon NaturallySpeaking 13 will receive any discounts for upgrading to Dragon Professional. Dragon Professional Group with the Nuance User Management Center for group and corporate use, are available now. Custom words and auto-texts can be easily managed by an IT administrator and deployed to employees using the app. Customized vocabularies and auto-texts are also shared across an entire Dragon experience with Dragon Anywhere’s ability to sync with the new Dragon Professional Individual and Dragon for Mac. The app also offers far more voice editing tools so you can actually format and change documents with voice commands.
This new app is geared towards the busy, working professional. This service works with the upgraded Dragon app for the Mac (in addition to new Android and Windows applications).
Nuance announced a new version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking this morning – and it’s no longer called Dragon NaturallySpeaking!
During this morning’s announcement, Nuance demonstrated a new feature that can transcribe a voice from an audio file from any speaker, no “training” required.

Dragon Anywhere will be available in English in the US and UK via the App Store and Google Play in fall 2015 as a subscription-based application.
