“Dragon Quest XI” Confirmed For Nintendo NX
One of the questions asked was whether Square Enix is considering a port of Dragon Quest Builders for Nintendo NX, and he responded advising that he doesn’t know whether it will happen or not, but the team are considering the possibility. Supposedly they’ll be released at the same time as well, as there would be “spoilers” if they released one at a time.

In a roundtable interview with Masahiro Sakurai (Smash Bros) and Junichi Masuda (Pokémon) in the October issue of Japan’s Nintendo Dream magazine (translation courtesy Gematsu), Horii states that the NX version is in development and will be different than the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 4 versions.

Now, the company has confirmed categorically that the latest entry in the popular JRPG franchise will indeed arrive on Nintendo’s new machine. The worldwide version release date has not been disclosed yet by the developers. The publisher could be busy gearing up for the Battlefield 1 launch and for the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda video game. Several reports claimed that the console will only be powered by an NVIDIA Tegra processor which is used in SHIELD tablets. Sony has the PlayStation Neo and Microsoft has the Project Scorpio which are claimed to be able to provide “true 4K” gaming. Furthermore, the “Dragon Quest XI” team is also going for 3D and 2D versions for the 3DS. This makes us wonder whether the NX version will be much better when compared with the other two, or if it may have some sort of extra content.
