According to Hot 97’s Ebro Darden, he and the Views hitmaker had a private conversation about Eminem and Joe Budden, who just released a diss track against Drake. Seems the conversation started out discussing the Toronto emcee’s feud with Joe Budden but ended touching on a rumor that Eminem was planning to come at him.

“We talked about Joe Budden”, Ebro says. That’s why Joe ain’t put out the DMs.
Could there be a possible Drake versus Eminem rap battle this 2016? According to Ebro, Drake said Budden has been threatening to release DMs between the two, but that he will never actually post them due to their content. “Drake was like, ‘The reason he ain’t put ’em out is because I DM’ed him and said I hope you get well in this tough time, ‘” says Ebro. “And e laughed. He was like, ‘That’s not gonna happen.’ He was like, ‘He’d never do that. The reason he ain’t put them out was because I DM’ed him and said, ‘I hope you get well in this tough time, aka you out here strung out on dope or something.’ So he ain’t put that out'”.
