It may come as a major heartbreak to all Drake fans, the “One Dance” hit-maker has reportedly called off all his VIP packages on his Summer Sixteen tour because they are reportedly ‘tiring and stressful’.

Drake isn’t the only Canadian superstar to recently clamp down on how fans interact with him. A representative weighed in on the matter, stating that Drake wanted to give fans the best tour that he could. “In this case, Drake is selling out shows world-wide so it’s not like he needs the money from the VIP packs”, the insider continues.
According to Ace Showbiz, Drake, 29, has been forced to cancel the meet-and-greets citing “scheduling issues” although it is believed Future, who is also performing on the Summer Sixteen tour, is still hosting his own sessions.
It was speculated that Drake’s choice to cancel the meet and greet was as a result of security concerns. Fan access to artists has been under scrutiny following the tragic death of Christina Grimmie, who was shot by during an autograph session following her show in Orlando on June 11th.
Another fan stated: “When you drop over 1k on a @Drake meet-and-greet and he cancels it. HAHAHAHA biggest L of my life”.

Ticket options initially included a special VIP package- “6 God Meet and Greet”- that includes a photo with Champagne Papi himself and assorted Aubrey merch. In May, Justin Bieber said he wouldn’t do meet and greets anymore, and wouldn’t allow fans to take photos with him.
