The jewelry was taken from the tour bus that was parked at Talking Stick Resort.

Investigators said the thief targeted a briefcase on the artist’s tour bus “filled with some pretty pricey jewelry and other items”.

Drake is now on his Summer Sixteen Tour. Sgt. Vince Lewis, a Phoenix police spokesman, told reporters King was easy to trace due to his heavy job history with local concert venues.

Drake can rest easy knowing police have recovered what was stolen from his bus.

King is being assigned an attorney with the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office.

Neither Drake’s nor Future the Prince’s representatives have commented on the matter. It was later on clarified that Future the Prince was the actual victim in the theft.

The suspect, Travion King, was arrested on campus at Arizona State University Wednesday afternoon, and cops describe him as a transient.

Since the news broke about the theft of $3 million worth of property, the police department issued a press release about the case.

Though the jewelry does not belong to the rapper, Drake was caught on camera getting visibly upset upon making his way to the tour bus. Future the Prince is Drake’s official DJ.

Representatives for Drake have not responded to requests for comment. That didn’t stop Drake from freaking out in the morning when he was alerted to the burglary.
