Drake’s Tour Bus Burgled, $3 Million in Jewelry Stolen

After identifying King as the suspect, police located him in jail.

Drake and Future had a concert scheduled at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix on Tuesday night. On Wednesday night, (Sept. 7, ) celebrities like Rihanna, Jay Z, Beyonce, Lebron James enjoyed the Los Angeles tour stop with surprise performances by Cali natives Ty Dolla $ign and YG.

According to ASU police, King was found near Barretts Honors College with the briefcase containing the stolen jewelry.

According to TMZ, 21 year-old Travion King was arrested at Arizona State University’s campus yesterday.

Representatives for Drake did not immediately respond to requests for comment Wednesday.

Police investigating the jewellery theft studied surveillance footage and then discovered their suspect was already in custody.

After the robbery, video obtained by TMZ shows Drake losing his temper over the troubling news, claping his hands and waving them around while appearing to speak in a very frustrated manner.

Drake is now in the midst of his Summer Sixteen tour with Future, which headed to Los Angeles on Wednesday for a three-night stint at Staples Center. The diamonds and gold belonged to Drake’s DJ Future the Prince.

The incident occurred after Drake performed with the DJ at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Arizona on Tuesday.

One of the most recognizable rappers for hits such as “Hotline Bling” and albums such as “Nothing Was the Same”, Drake released his latest album, “Views”, last spring.
