The “Hotline Bling” hitmaker has been sued by rapper and producer Detail for allegedly setting him up for a beating, TMZ reported Wednesday.

Drake faces charges against a record producer who accused him of setting him up for an alleged attack.
Drake once rapped, “You gon’ make someone around me catch a body like that”, and maybe he wasn’t bluffing … this according to Detail.
As the story goes, Drizzy extended an offer Detail’s way in 2014 to be his exclusive producer (a title that past, present and future should belong to 40 if anyone), one that was ultimately declined.
Detail claims he was invited to Drake’s Calabasas estate for a late night work session but instead, when he arrived he was “cold cocked” by Drake’s bodyguard, Chubbs.
Detail alleges that Chubbs yelled at him during the attack, saying, “I will beat all your a-es, including your b–es”.
“I don’t give a f***”. Chubbs allegedly said. “I will hit you again”.
According to The Daily Mail, Drake worked with various producers in his studio album “Nothing Was The Same”, which included Detail. You may be familiar with Chubbs as the guy who’s often by Drake’s side – when he’s out, when he’s watching an National Basketball Association game courtside, etc.
