Drake Took Another Shot at Funkmaster Flex Last Night in NYC
Now fast forward to last night [Saturday, August 6] Flex was ready to dish some more information about Drake and ensure his fans he would not be losing his job or going anywhere because “70 percent of your fans (Drake fans) wear high-heels, the other 30 percent are guys who wear sandals”.

Funkmaster Flex has a bone to pick with Drake after the rapper said he’d go on HOT 97 when they “fire Funk Flex”.
“Ima let you know you’re rocking with DJ Self and DJ Spade”. “He’s a great entertainer. This ain’t that other weak s##t, this that real s##t”, Drake told the crowd “This where you supposed to be tonight, this the real NY”.
“I don’t know if you noticed, but everything is built on top 5”, he said.
Naturally, Flex didn’t take too kindly to Drake’s calling for his dismissal and brought up the story about his freestyle while reading from a Blackberry in 2009.
“That freestyle, we rehearsed it first in this room”.
You can best believe Flex will have something to say about this. He had the BlackBerry out. had no idea he was gonna leave the Blackberry out.
Miller had written in the statement about watching Drake writing in the studio.
“You wanted people to think that you write your bars, you wanted people to think that on that BlackBerry those [words] were yours, and that you wrote that” Flex asserted.
“You wanted to solidify that because you knew this day would come when people might see or question your pen”, Flex said.
Then, after saying Drake will never be Top 5, Flex spilled the tea that it was OVO (well, ex-OVO people) who sent him the infamous Quentin Miller reference tracks for fear of being “pressed” by Meek Mill and his team.
The DJ suggested that Drake should have admitted he had “a couple people who helped me with a couple things” rather than try to “hide it”.
Eminem hasn’t actually said anything himself, but Funkmaster Flex said he has something prepared for Drake later tonight.
