Draymond Green kicks OKC’s Steven Adams in groin
Green kicked Oklahoma City’s Steven Adams in the groin while attempting a shot in the second quarter of the 133-105 Western Conference finals Game Three loss as the defending National Basketball Association champions fell 2-1 behind to the Thunder in the best-of-seven series. According to reports, another flagrant foul at that level against Green would result in an automatic suspension. During the game, players – at times – flail their legs in an attempt to draw a foul.

Green was willing to address how he would handle the balance between being careful and playing the way he likes to play Tuesday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena during Game 4 of the Western Conference finals.
Adams had been whistled for a regular shooting foul, and Green swung his leg into Adams’ groin in the fractions of a second following that initial whistle. Watching the replay, I think that’s clear.
“Honestly, I think it’s intentional”, Westbrook told reporters.
Thunder star Russell Westbrook had fueled the controversy by stating that the flagrant foul looked deliberate.
Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook says he believes the kick was intentional. This is the second time Allen has been kicked in the groin by Green during the conference; the first time was during Game 2. If Dahntay Jones was suspended for a cheap shot, how come Draymond Green got away free with committing the same foul on the same player twice? It’s no shocker to me that we’re down 3-1 because I haven’t been there for two games.
“I’ve never been fined for one flop since I’ve been playing in the National Basketball Association, so I don’t know about no flopping or nothing”, Westbrook said.
“Well, some are on accident and some are on objective”, Mark Davis said, “but I don’t think that was kind of on accident”.

Steve Kerr: “Stuff like that happens all the time”. Green averages 16.6 points, 9.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. There was frustration, and those two have gotten into over the years, I know.
