Severed will launch on April 26 for $14.99, and DrinkBox promises a 10 percent discount to members of PS Plus during launch week.
The colorful adventure highlights for its visual and its great gameplay, which promise to keep gamers immersed in the game’s story for hours.
DrinkBox Studios is ready to release another title, Severed, but only on PlayStation Vita.
The game has an impressive prog-rock soundtrack by Yamantaka // Sonic Titan and special guests Pantayo, which you can already buy on Bandcamp for $8.88 Canadian dollars (about £4.83).
In Severed players take control of a one armed warrior woman called Sasha who, armed with a living sword, journeys through a nightmare world in search of her family. After you defeat an enemy in Severed, you get to loot them of their equipment, which can prove useful in future battles. Sharp reflexes are a must to make the most of the game.
Here we are a year later, but Drinkbox is “really happy” with how Severed turned out, after months of polishing and packing in as much as possible. Along the way, you’ll solve puzzles using swipe controls and fights all sorts of nightmarish monsters.
As players progress they’ll upgrade their skills and unlock new abilities with an RPG-style upgrade tree, and uncover the mysteries that await.
