Driveclub VR Makes PlayStation VR Owners Drivers And Passengers
Sony announced that Driveclub VR will release later this year and even though there is no release date mentioned, it is safe to say it is a launch title for PlayStation VR. The PlayStation VR will be released on October 13, 2016. Today, from gamescom, SIEE (Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe) revealed that Driveclub VR is gearing up to be released as a PlayStation VR launch title.

“We have been working with a number of independent studios to bring their creative visions to life, and are delighted to be partnering with Rebellion to bring the classic Battlezone franchise to PlayStation VR”.
Features for the virtual reality version were also confirmed, such as online multiplayer race and single-player career modes.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a new trailer for Driveclub VR.
In development “for more than a year now”, the game promises the “definitive and most immersive Driveclub experience possible”.
We’re passionate about trying to create the most memorable and exhilarating gaming experiences possible, so being given the opportunity to take DriveClub to a more immersive level thanks to VR is really thrilling.
Word of a VR-ready Driveclub port first broke back in July after the PlayStation Blog published (and subsequently pulled) a blog post about the unannounced project.
A closer look: More than 80 cars are recreated with immaculate detail for players to explore up close with Inspection Mode.

Users can also become a “virtual passenger” by watching replays of their own hot laps from a passenger’s viewpoint.
