Driver killed, 18 injured in school bus crash at Denver airport
Authorities continue to investigate the fatal school bus crash that occurred Sunday at Denver International Airport. The tragic accident claimed the life of the female whose was driving the bus when the vehicle crashed into a concrete ramp support pillar after veering off of a roadway.

A bus carrying members of the Legacy High School football team crashed into a concrete pillar at Denver International Airport during the early evening hours on September 11, killing the bus driver and injuring 15 players and three coaches, according to the Denver Police Department.
Junior Kevin Segura was relieved to learn that his friend, a football player, was OK.
They remain in the hospital at this time. Fox 31 reported that uninjured students escaped the bus through an emergency exit. According to the New York Daily News, the school bus driver’s body was found “amid the mangled front of the yellow school bus”. The school bus was from the Delaware First State Military Academy.
The driver’s name and possible cause of the crash haven’t been released.
The driver the of the pickup truck and three children from the bus were taken to area hospitals.
Two passengers were in critical condition and two were in serious condition at Denver Health Medical Center. The others were treated and released.

Investigators want to know why the driver circled back to DIA after picking up the team.
