Drivers Wanted By Amazon: Earn £15 an Hour Delivering Packages
Online retail giant Amazon is launching a scheme in which it pays people up to £15 an hour to deliver packages to its customers.

The Amazon Flex service, first launched in America, will be piloted in the city and then rolled out across the rest of the country. The ad says: ‘We aim to ensure that the number of packages you are assigned to deliver within your block is realistic, taking into account congestion and the primary requirement to drive safely’.
“Flex” drivers will be able to determine where and when they work and will log in to a smartphone app that will inform them of the jobs that need doing, as well offering help with routes and offering tracking for customers.
The oneline retailer recently launched Amazon Prime Now, which offers 15,000 products for delivery within the hour.
The recruitment advertisement on Craigslist reads: ‘Earn £13-£15 per hour including tips delivering packages with Amazon.
E-commerce delivery experts ParcelHero said the move would transform home deliveries. Amazon already has the super fast one hour delivery service in many countries but this would make it even faster.
Amazon says that all a driver needs is “a vehicle, an Android phone, and some free time”. “Deliver when you want and make some extra cash”.
Here’s hoping deliveries will be a little less fraught than they were in Byfleet last week where this scary near-miss took place involving an Amazon lorry. Drivers who work for Uber use their own cars; they start working and stop working whenever they please.
