The interviewer then asked Drogba if he thought Arsenal had enough to win it top which he replied, “They’ve got Petr Cech”.

“Nicolas Anelka as well”, said Drogba of the former France, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester City forward.
Fellow fan Tom Westford said: “I would like to see him back at Chelsea – it’s not just what he gives you on the pitch, but he is a great example for younger players too”.
The Blues have endured a disastrous start to the season losing seven of their opening 13 matches in the Premier League.
Drogba admitted Chelsea had been going through a “difficult moment” this season, but that back-to-back victories over Norwich and Maccabi Tel Aviv indicated this was now being reversed.
The two men are close friends but there was one unforgettable fallout when Chelsea needed to beat Wigan Athletic in the last game of the season to win the 2010 Premier League title. When you win the league the year before and you find yourself in the last three or four teams in the table, it is a shock.
“I know the players and the manager have the ability to change this. They have won two consecutive games in the last few days so I think it is a new start”.
But despite that, Arsenal do sit just two points off Leicester at the Premier League summit.
Despite that impressive tally, Drogba believes Vardy would need to score consistently for one of the division’s bigger names before his qualities can be accurately assessed.
“I don’t like to compare things to when I was there but there are some facts that you can’t hide”, Drogba was quoted as saying by The Sun at the launch of his new book, Commitment.

“What he is doing right now is fantastic, though”.
