Droitwich Spa Forum for Older People to hold coffee morning this Thursday

Tomorrow’s (Thursday) drop-in coffee morning at St Peter’s Church will be in support of Macmillan this week, from 10am-noon.

People visiting the Outpatients Department at Peterborough City Hospital on Friday will get the chance to enjoy the baking efforts of the clinic teams who will be taking part in the Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Cindy Luscombe, home manager at Mill View, said: “The Macmillan Coffee Morning provides us with an excellent opportunity to raise funds for a very important cause while bringing people together for a fun, social event. Between the three shops, it should be a really lively event and hopefully raise some money for Cancer Support”.

Past year the coffee morning raised an astounding £25 million.

‘Join us for coffee’ You can join in at the annual coffee morning held in All Saints’ Church Putney Common this Friday (25th September) from 10 a.m.to 12.30 p.m.

Westhouse: There is a Macmillan coffee morning with cake stall at Westhouse Methodist Schoolroom tomorrow from 10.30am.

The kit usually takes 5-7 working days so it mightn’t come in time now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still host a coffee morning.

Wigglesworth: The Plough is hosting a Macmillan coffee morning on Saturday, where coffee and cakes will be sold.
