Inmates at an Ohio prison were in for quite a surprise last week when a drone dropped a drug-filled package into the prison yard, spurring a massive brawl for the illicit goods. A different inmate, however, got to the package first and threw it over the fence into the south recreation yard.

No staff or inmates were injured, according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.

Officials are reviewing surveillance cameras in an ongoing investigation into to how the drone made the delivery unnoticed, and where the drone originated from. The prison has 2,700 inmates.

The machine most commonly used for delivering prison contraband can be bought on Amazon for as cheaply as $400, CBS News reports.

Prison officials only knew that a huge fight had broken out.

The drop was apparently an attempt to sneak contraband into the prison.

Other institutions have enlisted the help of a drone detection device called Drone Shield to intercept the packages before they reach their destination.

Corrections spokeswoman JoEllen Smith previously said using drones to transport banned items is common around the country, but it’s only happened in Ohio a few times.

In 2014, the Lee Correctional Institution in South Carolina reported that a drone carrying marijuana, tobacco, and mobile phones crashed just outside its walls; in the past two years, there have been three other drone-smuggling incidents across the U.S., and more overseas.
