Drunk Woman Calls 911 Pretending to Be Olivia Pope
A drunken Iowa City woman was arrested after she reportedly dialed 911 and claimed to be television character Olivia Pope from ABC’s “Scandal”. Police said Cousins kept talking about Scandal and a auto with a bomb heading toward the White House. Cyrus Beene is a villain on the television show “Scandal”.

“Olivia Pope” is the name of the main character on the TV drama “Scandal”. Cousins told the dispatcher that another character from the show, Cyrus Beene, was outside of the Sports Column in downtown Iowa City.
According to the police report, police arrived on the scene to find Cousins reeked of alcohol, had bloodshot and watery eyes, slurred speech and “everything that the defendant stated was nonsensical and rambling”.
Cousins, charged with making a non-emergency 911 call and public intoxication, was still in Johnson County jail early Friday, the newspaper reported.
Cousins faild a field sobriety test. She was arrested and booked on charges of 911 non-emergency call and public intoxication.

When officers caught up with the woman, who apparently was trying to sneak into a bar with a fake ID, they found she had a blood-alcohol content of 0.206.
