There will be no admission queues in Delhi University this year.

The online registration process will start Wednesday at noon and continue till June 19, following which the first cut-off list will be announced on June 27.
The varsity will begin its 11-day open counselling sessions from Wednesday and these will last till June 11.
Announcing a slew of changes in its admission process Tuesday, Delhi University said admissions as well as payment of fees will be completely online from this academic session.
Like every year, the University will have an open house session to help students with the registration process this year too. Once Candidates have registered online, they need to provide their Login credentials using Login Id and Password and fill the Application Form.
Mr. Kumar added that taking the application process completely online is also a way of “sensitising students about the application process”. Apart from filling the form students will also have to upload copy of self attested class 10, 12 mark sheets and reserved category certificate.
The details about the proceedings of admission and further course taken by students will be released in the official website of Delhi University today on 31 May 2016.
However, a student who has already taken admission in the first cut-off list will not be able to secure a seat in another college in the second list without cancelling the previous admission.
Similarly, admission under the sports/ECA category will also be done centrally. “For instance, some colleges have been asked to conduct basketball trials”. The registrations will continue till 19 June, 2016. Khalsa College followed by Sri Venkateshwara College.

The varsity’s admission committee, which held a series of meetings in the run-up to the admission process, has made a decision to give 1% relaxation to women students seeking admission in all colleges. “The merit lists for the remaining seats after admissions conclude for the fifth cut-off, will be announced by respective colleges”, Khurana said.
