Dublin Airport voted No.1 in Europe for passenger service

The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), managed by Delhi International Airport (P) Limited (DIAL), a GMR led Consortium, has retained the world’s number one position for the second consecutive year in 25-40 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA) category.

Commenting on the results of the survey, Dublin Airport Managing Director, Vincent Harrison, said: “This is a very significant achievement for Dublin Airport”.

The ranking was announced by the ACI – a trade association of the world’s airports founded in 1991 – for the 2015 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards.

“The key areas to drive passenger satisfaction at Dublin Airport are courtesy and helpfulness of staff, security, check-in, cleanliness and the Departure Gates”.

Dublin Airport has topped a survey of its peers, placing first for customer service among airports of its size in Europe.

“We work collaboratively with all of our partners to facilitate efficient operations and contribute to a positive experience at the airport”.

The program, which is in place at more than 300 airports around the world and measures many aspects of customers’ experiences, places Saskatoon’s service “among the world’s best”, a news release stated.

Talking about Dublin’s performance, ACI’s Gittens notes: “Dublin Airport’s number one ranking in Europe demonstrates its professionalism, commitment and success in delivering that high level of customer service”.

Ford airport is recognized as the top airport of its size on the continent, taking the top spot among airports that serve between 2 and 5 million passengers a year. “From the airlines to our parking services, law enforcement and curb-front security to TSA and airport ambassadors – they do a tremendous job day-in and day-out to ensure the passengers have a quality experience at our airport”.
