Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson to Cruz: ‘Time to move on’

Reality TV personality Phil Robertson speaks during the 2014 Republican Leadership Conference on May 29, 2014 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Robertson dropped by Fox & Friends on Thursday to talk about Wednesday night’s happenings and what he thought about Ted Cruz giving his memorable speech about voting your conscience instead of voting for Donald Trump. He’s not the most bubbly guy I’ve ever run across, if you understand what I’m sayin’.
Robertson endorsed Cruz during the primary but later joined his son, Willie Robertson, in backing Trump.
Robertson added that he has learned a bit about politics while attending the convention.
The former Cruz supporter said he is supporting Trump because “that’s the hand that’s been dealt by the Republican electorate”. We want this one.’ You need to get behind him. Robertson told CNSNews.com during a screening of the movie in Cleveland on Thursday.
