Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson Endorses Donald Trump, ‘A Real Leader’
All told, Thursday’s endorsement was less showy than that of the elder Robertson, who appeared in a highly produced video with Cruz last week.

This image of Ted Cruz is from a video in which “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson endorses the Texas senator. Phil and Ted even huddled together in a duck blind to shoot an ad for the Canadian-born presidential contender.
“Mr. Trump is a real leader”, Robertson said of the real-estate mogul.
At Thursday’s event in Las Vegas, Willie Robertson, dressed in a plaid shirt and a star-spangled bandanna, couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a dig at his dad for his endorsement. Both were guests of the show that’s part of the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show. “I’m not talking about my father, OK?”
Looking into the camera, Phil Robertson says his selection criteria for endorsing a candidate include “would they kill a duck, put ’em in a pot and make ’em a good duck gumbo”.
“I’ve looked at the candidates, Ted Cruz is my man”, he said. “He believes in my message and knows that I am the only one who will Make America Great Again!”

Robertson also joined Trump on Thursday night at the Outdoor Sportsman Awards in Las Vegas, according to the Trump campaign.
