Duck Dynasty Swoops In To Help David Vitter

Republican U.S. Sen. David Vitter has secured the endorsement of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry in the Louisiana’s governor’s race.

He said the number released by the Edwards campaign “certainly explains the paid Democratic buses and vote-hauling operations we’ve observed”.

At the end of the:30 ad, the two men joke about Vitter growing a beard.

“The whole story of the Bible is about redemption”, Robertson says.

The new ad, titled “David and Willie”, highlights a familiar theme for Vitter’s campaign: how he accepted responsibility for his actions and asked for forgiveness. It’s not a ideal environment – and yet Vitter is there, and John Bel Edwards, who doesn’t want to get caught on video saying things to placate the folks at Southern which might alienate white voters (we know this because his campaign admitted it when he pulled out of the forum), is not.

Robertson says, “Dave and I have been out in the woods today”. “Yeah, you need to talk to (wife) Wendy about that”, Vitter says.

The family’s endorsement of former 5th District U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, is credited with helping McAllister score an upset win before his own infidelity scandal cost him re-election. They’ve showered kind words and support on term-limited Gov. Bobby Jindal, who is running for the Republican presidential nomination.
