The latest aggressor is Starbucks, a corporation that had the audacity to change the design of their holiday cups to plain red.

I’m not a coffee drinker. but if I were I’d have a special bias for Dunkin’ Donuts since it began putting my wife’s name on its everyday cups for this holiday season: Joy.

A few Evangelical Christians, including Joshua Feuerstein -an Internet personality who tackles hot button issues by creating controversial videos- have accused Starbucks of stripping the Christmas message from the holiday. Another wrote, “For those upset w/ Starbucks: Dunkin’ Donuts still has Christmas cups. No more merry Christmas on Starbucks”, Trump said on Monday evening during the pre-debate rally in Springfield, Illinois.

“A Santa, a snowflake, a few holly, a polar bear, a few jingle bells or plain red cups don’t define Christmas for me as a Christian”. Trump said of a Starbucks outpost in one of his buildings.

For those of you who want to turn up your holiday coffee drinking experience to eleven, Dunkin’ Donuts has you covered. When I choose Starbucks, I know I’ll pay more and I know I’m paying for the freshness and taste.

Dunkin’ Donuts may have inadvertently fired a shot across Starbucks’ bow in the Seattle coffee chain’s red cup “war on Christmas” controversy.

They said Dunkin’ did “what Starbucks should have done” – reigniting the Great Starbucks Holiday Cup Controversy of 2015.

Jeffrey Fields, Starbucks vice president of design and content, says the company is embracing simplicity.

Erik Bransteen commented on Twitter: “Dunkin Donuts new slogan: ‘Dunkin Donuts: Jesus Doesn’t Hate Our Coffee Cups'”.

A few religious conservatives have expressed anger over the coffee company’s holiday season cups, which this year are a minimalist all-red design with no images aside from the company’s green and white logo.
