Dunkin’ Donuts Unveils Holiday-Themed Cup Amid Starbucks Controversy

Dunkin’ Donuts has unveiled a special holiday cup for the season, featuring the word “Joy”, adorned with a few yuletide foliage.

The Dunkin’ Donuts cup has a green and red holiday design and says “Joy” in red letters.

The widespread Starbucks boycott has been traced back to self-labeled social media personality/”evangelist” Joshua Feuerstein, who proclaimed via Facebook that the company “REMOVED CHRISTMAS from their cups because they hate Jesus”.

Earlier this week, Starbucks addressed the new, simple design, saying it was a way for customers to “create their own stories with a red cup that mimics a blank canvas”.

Starbucks’ vice president of design and content Jeffrey Fields told US Weekly in a statement that the coffee chain is positioning itself as a place of sanctuary during the holidays. “I don’t know. Seriously, I don’t care”, he added. “I care about what they do for working people, and they’re doing the right thing by them”. “I don’t remember Starbucks ever being a Christian company, do you?” the actress continued. “They used one small group’s opinion about the cups and began attributing it to the greater Christian community”. “No more Merry Christmas on Starbucks”, the bloviating billionaire told a rally in Springfield, Illinois, this week.

In a surprisingly sensible turn of events, Fox News host Bill O’Reilly said he has no problem with the minimalist design of Starbucks’ holiday cups. Including the United States, where their customers celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, other holidays or no holiday at all during the winter months. Even Presidential hopeful Donald Trump has called for a Starbucks boycott.

Mayor de Blasio admitted he drank coffee Wednesday out of a Starbucks holiday cup, and said he supports the company because he supports their labor policies and are good to their staff.
