Westbrook’s triple-double: 22 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists in truly vintage 2014-2015 Russell fashion.

Former Thunder player Derek Fisher, a close friend of Durant’s, is managing similar issues with one of his key players on the NY Knicks. It was basic. In the first quarter, he was a point guard dominating the matchup with known “point guard” John Wall.

Davis helped the Pelicans (1-6) build an 18-point halftime lead that never dipped below 14 points even after he left. “You get me 27 minutes on Saturday, I’ll get you a rebound”.

“Whenever I feel right, whenever I feel ready to play again, that’s when I’ll play”, Durant said.

Karl-Anthony Towns had 19 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks for the Timberwolves, who played without starters Andrew Wiggins (sore right knee), Ricky Rubio (sore left knee) and Kevin Garnett (rest).

“Our bigs have got to get back into the paint”, Randy Wittman said before the Thunder game, when asked about stopping Westbrook when he’s in attack mode.

Durant was forced to leave the game at halftime with a left hamstring strain, and is scheduled for an MRI today. Oklahoma City (5-3) sank 15 of 23 three-pointers during their second straight win.
