Durant says hamstring feeling ‘way better’
Going by the timeline of a week to 10 days, Durant could return as early as this Friday when the Thunder host the Knicks or Sunday when the Mavericks come to town.

Once again, the Thunder were without Kevin Durant who missed his third straight game and is expected to sit out the rest of the week.
Kevin Durant said he is feeling “way better” since injuring his left hamstring Tuesday against the Washington Wizards.
Amid questions of rust and regaining his rhythm, Durant picked up where he left off in his 2013-14 MVP season by scoring 28.1 points per game on 50.3 percent shooting. “I don’t want to push it and ‘be tough.’ I just want to be smart about it”.
Russell Westbrook had 43 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, and the Oklahoma City Thunder recovered from a slow start to beat the injury-depleted New Orleans Pelicans 110-103 on Wednesday night. For what it’s worth, it doesn’t sound like Durant has endured any further setbacks since he first sustained the hamstring strain last week, but his activity over the next two days will likely dictate his availability for Saturday. After faltering late in their last two games versus Boston and Memphis, OKC’s offense showed a few life in the fourth quarter, knocking down shots when they needed to moving the ball around (looking at you Nick Collison). “The player, he doesn’t have any say in this one because of course you feel good, but we have to be careful”.
Upon entry into the Durant basketball squad, Donovan vowed to implement changes that will see the Oklahoma City Thunder rise this NBA season. “I felt like I was in a good groove before, but it’s a part of the game”.
Anthony Morrow didn’t get a single second of significant time tonight, and a lot of fans are furious. Just got to work to get back.

Injuries to Bradley Beal (shoulder) and then to Durant kind of killed the excitement between this matchup that was supposed to be a heated duel.
