Dutch reports suggest Man United and Van Gaal will be staying together
Louis Van Gaal’s time at Manchester United appears to be coming to a close.

Manchester United have unlikely rivals for the services of Jose Mourinho, with the Syrian FA understood to have made an approach for the former Chelsea coach. “Van Gaal has given me a lot of confidence and I try hard to pay it back to him every day”.
However, several other highly regarded publications have simultaneously reported that the “Special One” has not even been contacted by any Old Trafford representatives as of yet.
Dutch paper De Telegraaf claimed the 64-year-old will remain at Old Trafford and be handed £80m to turn United into title challengers.
But according to The Sun, the Portuguese is beginning to worry that Van Gaal could now see out the final year of his contract at United.
Jose Mourinho or Ryan Giggs?
With his future at Manchester United highly uncertain, the Netherlands were hoping to rope in the Dutchman as their technical director as they look to rebuild the team after failing to qualifying for this summer’s European Championship. The Netherlands’ top brass created the creator of football for Van Gaal and offered him the post.
The ex-Chelsea boss reportedly has had his sights set on replacing Louis van Gaal since leaving Stamford Bridge. “You have to offer an exciting job and it must be someone with respect”.

Despite his recent misfortunate, Mourinho proved to be one of the best coaches in the history of football after winning a major trophy during every season at all the clubs he managed between 2003 and 2012.
