Dwayne Johnson & Vin Diesel’s ‘prank’ spat will be settled in wrestling ring

Jones is, of course, a brilliant actor, having won multiple awards – including an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in The Fugitive – yet, we can’t really imagine seeing him in the Fast and Furious series alongside a muscle powerhouse like Diesel.

It was later revealed by TMZ that Johnson was referring to Diesel who he allegedly butted heads with on the set of the film. The sporting event, which has millions of fans, is scheduled for 2 April next year, just two weeks before Fast 8’s premiere.

It seems like high praise indeed about The Rock coming for Vin Diesel as the pair apparently were embroiled in a feud as Fast 8 wrapped up. A source later told PEOPLE that tension had been building for months on the set between Johnson and Vin Diesel. “They are playing a huge prank”, an insider tells the magazine, “and it’s all for publicity”.

In a social media rant, Johnson had slammed an anonymous male co-star, and there are speculations that his post was targeted towards Diesel, 49.

Fast 8 is slated for an April 14, 2017 release.

“Back in the fifth film, when I was asking, ‘Who should I work with?’ The reason why we brought Dwayne Johnson into Fast Five was because of you”.

“The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway”. Scott Eastwood you handsome sumbitch! “Natalie Emmanuel, I have a cold Budweiser ready for you and Tyrese Gibson you still have the biggest smile and forehead I’ve ever seen”, The Rock captioned the image. There are a number that people can choose from, and for all the grief that the prequel trilogy gets, I think that George Lucas staged some exciting fights – ones that had real weight and effect. “I have nothing to do with it and I don’t want any part of it”.
