‘DWTS’ host: Lochte protesters rushing stage was ‘unnerving’
Ryan Lochte says he feels “a little hurt” after being involved in an incident on “Dancing with the Stars” that prompted producers to cut to a commercial.

The two men were detained by security until police arrived to take them into custody, Los Angeles police spokesman Mike Lopez said.
Lochte was standing on stage next to his partner, professional dancer Cheryl Burke, after their performance as judges were critiquing their moves when two men ran onto the stage in protest, according to an ABC affiliate in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles police have identified the men on stage as Sam Satoodeh and Barzeen Soroudi. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba was heard yelling, “Excuse me!” They were held on $1,000 bail each. The show is broadcast live from CBS Television City in Hollywood, but airs on ABC.
Upon returning, Bergeron announced: “We had to go to break because we had a little incident”.
When the show returned, host Bergeron explained they were interrupted by “a little incident” and thanked the ABC series’ security team “for staying in shape”. Four or five other women were removed from the audience after chanting against Lochte. The pair “unlawfully entered the stage in an attempt to confront Mr. Lochte”, Lopez said.
“In gymnastics there have been times that a girl has gone out right before me and gets injured and has to be taken out on a stretcher”, Hernandez told PEOPLE about not being nervous to follow Lochte.
ABC News reporter Jason Nathanson showed a photo on Twitter of two men in anti-Lochte T-shirts in handcuffs.
As the second-to-last duo to dance, he and Burke had just finished a foxtrot set to Michael Buble’s “Call Me Irresponsible” – a song choice that was a clear but winking nod to his actions at the Rio de Janeiro gas station and his rapidly changing subsequent accounts of what really happened in Brazil. “I wanted to protect my home”.

Lochte created an global incident during the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games when he lied about being robbed to cover up vandalism he and other members of the U.S. Olympic swim team allegedly committed at a gas station in Brazil. They later claimed they were threatened and robbed. United States team officials banned Lochte for 10 months, requiring him to forfeit $100,000 in bonuses and miss the 2017 world championships.
