The Dying Light DLC pass is thus being adjusted accordingly to the new price of $30.

Meanwhile, the Season Pass will see its price increased from $19.99 to $29.99 from December 8th onwards.

From December 8, the price of the Season Pass will increase from £15.99 to £23.99 to reflect the game’s incoming expansion pack “The Following”, which will also be available to purchase individually for £15.99 at a later date.

Dying Light: The Following was previously set to cost $14.99, although a United Kingdom price had yet to be confirmed.

“Over the past weeks Dying Light: The Following has nearly reached its final stage: main quests, side quests, new skills, and driving challenges are ready”, Techland’s letter states. We now are moving into the polishing period.

It’s great that The Following is even bigger than expected, but it’s really odd that a company would intentionally increase the price, when simply keeping it the same price might garner some good PR for an already lauded title.

If you’ve already bought the season pass there won’t be any price increase at all. So if you think you might want to play The Following, now is the time to pick it up before the price hike kicks in.

When Techland introduced “The Following”, it promised a massive new area for the game with maps bigger than those of the original title.
