The Following, the new DLC tells of a man in the story who will come to the people in a time of plague and violence to bring light.

Dying Light is also set to introduce a new leveling system that will extend the options offered for strengthening characters.
Entitled “The Following”, the expansion seems to have a more spiritual side to it, with an even darker and more mysterious atmosphere.
It remains to be seen if this expansion will incorporate genuine supernatural elements or if the cult is just comprised of insane people.
This map is an exact 1:1 scale version of the map with every corner and detail nearly identical using Dying Light’s resources.
Nowadays, Dying Light typically retails for around $30. So the fact that Techland is introducing a stronger narrative to the game is intriguing. After all, previous expansions added vehicles to the game, as well as a horde mode with The Bozak Horde expansion.
Overall, it’s admirable how much Techland has supported Dying Light post-launch.
