In the first look at “Teen Wolf” season 6, Dylan O’Brien is wearing a brace! And for an extra treat, check out more BTS snapshots featuring the one and only DOB below – with a bunch of familiar TW faces!

Not only was it super important for Dylan to return to Teen Wolf because duh – he’s STILES, but Jeff said that having him being front and center this season was always a part of the plan. “We’re going to see why exactly he’s Scott’s best friend, what it means that he’s Malia’s human anchor, and what his will-they-or-won’t-they relationship is with Lydia”.

O’Brien was run over by a vehicle during the filming of “Mazerunner: The Death Cure” and suffered severe injuries, including multiple broken bones. With the cast and crew announcing their attendance at the San Diego Comic Con 2016, will Dylan O’Brien be at the show’s panel during the event? “You’ll see what happens with that in the first episode”, showrunner Jeff Davis revealed.

Fans of Teen Wolf have been concerned that Dylan’s injury would prevent him from returning to Teen Wolf and leave too many unanswered questions for his character for the season to work without him.

It is believed that “Teen Wolf” Season 6 will help set the stage for the next Teen Wolf or Alpha in town, Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and the younger members of the Pack. The photo released by EW of O’Brien is from the premiere of Teen Wolf Season 6, however it was taken before Dylan went to film Death Cure. This way, the story of the MTV drama can still continue even without Scott or Stiles as the lead characters of the show.

Teen Wolf is set to return to MTV this fall.

“What’s next is partly a long road to recovery for Scott and Stiles’ friendship – it’s not going to be easy”, the executive producer told The Hollywood Reporter.
