E3 2016: EA Announces Release Window for Visceral’s Star Wars Game

You can take a look at the Concept art and early footage of Visceral’s Star Wars game below. Rather than having a booth on the showfloor, EA made a decision to host a separate event nearby in downtown Los Angeles, with their signature press conference followed by the opening of the EA Play show, a dedicated space for both press and fans to be able to see the next big things coming from EA Games. According to the trailer, their goal is to implement new ideas into the game: more planets, more environments and more eras.

While few details about the Respawn Star Wars game were given, we do know the game will be a third-person action game.

The video touches on all things Star Wars that EA is working on, there are lots of hints and easter eggs throughout, just like EA did before with all the Battlefront videos.

Galaxy of Heroes, the team at Capital Games has already delivered a deep Star Wars mobile experience featuring iconic characters and locations from every corner of the Star Wars universe. For Battlefront, they showed both in-game content and behind the scenes content, both unbelievable.

Hopefully we will see a return to some of the Knights of the Old Republic games, as those really sparked my love of the lore and history of Star Wars, before the Skywalker saga became the central theme. Can confirm – set in Star Wars.
