There were whispers online recently of the ever-imaginative developer being responsible for the new web-slinging action game, and as shown in the announcement trailer during Sony’s E3 2016 conference, it’s looking pretty slick already. Spider-Man also seems to have a much larger scale of destruction as various vehicles and buildings were receiving a lot of real time damage. Negative is a fairly new villain to the comics, debuting in 2008 during the “Brand New Day” era of Spider-Man comics, but he has yet to appear in a video game. Fans can only hope that Insomniac Games learns from the mistakes of the previous Spider-Man game and provides a solid story in the upcoming title. This isn’t the Spider-Man you’ve met before, or seen in a movie.
