EA Access Is Coming To PC
Of course, you’ll have to play all of these games through EA’s Origin client, which may be a game-changer to some Steam devotees.

Not much outside of the technological wonders behind the science of making a personal computer, but that won’t stop Electronic Arts from throwing him as the new spokesperson for EA’s newest service: Origin Access. The games are usually limited in some capacity – Star Wars: Battlefront was only available for a total of ten hours – but for the most part, EA is simply giving Xbox owners an early tease before a given game’s official release. Rechristened “EA Origin Access” (because heaven forbid we forget about Origin) the program now offers up 15 older EA titles for a single $5 per month fee. EA promises to add more Vault games on a monthly basis, including third-party offerings.
At a glance, Origin Access seems to be the same thing as EA Access, just with a slightly cooler name, as PC gamers deserve. Additionally, Origin Access members will have access to full releases of fairly recent video game releases, including Battlefield Hardline, FIFA 15, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Battlefield 4. On the other hand, the back catalog of PC games is quite a bit richer than the fledgling Xbox One. Finally, Origin Access subscribers receive an additional 10 percent off on all of their Origin purchases. We’ll update this story if/when EA responds.
Jesting aside, if any of the games in the vault interest you, then 4.99 isn’t so bad. If you end up buying it, all progress you make during the trial time is saved.
