EA has announced that they will be adding more content to Star Wars Battlefield along with announcing new Star Wars games in progress. No release date has been announced fo the Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR Mission, but Sony announced that Playstation VR will launch on October 13, 2016.
Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes will also have updates and more content added by the end of the year, while new game features will also be added to Star Wars: The Old Republic. It is reported that EA has promised that that they are going to roll out the new DLC for the game and those with a season pass for the upcoming game will be able to download the new DLC from Star Wars: Battlefront on the 21 of June. The news is somewhat surprising, since it was known that the team was actually collaborating with Visceral in the development of their own Star Wars game. We saw two people battling with light sabers, and we know that it’s also a third-person action adventure game set in a “different Star Wars era”, but that’s all for now.
The video game publisher teased three new games set in the “Star Wars” universe Sunday at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
At EA Play, we saw a brilliant video that showcased all the games in EA pipeline, and what can be expected in the future.
Even farther off is another action-adventure game in early development by Respawn Entertainment, the company behind the multiplayer shooter “Titanfall” and the soon-to-be-released “Titanfall 2”. This unbelievable mobile game brings our childhood Star Wars fantasies to life, where we used to sit around playing with action figures making up our own stories.
“There’s never been a better time to be a Star Wars fan”, said EA with Visceral Games, DICE, Capital Games, BioWare, Motive and more all working on Star Wars projects. Another interesting addition was a featurette showcasing many studios striving bring Star Wars experience to life.
