Mass Effect and Titanfall fans will be pleased to know that EA has today confirmed that new games for both series are now under development and are expected to launch sometime before March 31st, 2017.

“In Q1, we’ll begin with the creative and innovative Mirror’s Edge Catalyst from DICE launching in May”, said the publisher.
Wilson said that in fiscal year 2017, EA expects to launch a “new Battlefront game from EA DICE in time for the holidays”, and a “new Titanfall experience”. The reason is because the quarter of July until September is when numerous EA Sports games come out.
That was the first glimpse of new games coming from EA, which beat earnings expectations in the most recent quarter and is a bellwether for the overall $90 billion game business.
They’re also planning to have Mass Effect: Andromeda, and their follow-up to Titanfall, out by the end of the 2017 fiscal year.
Then you’ve got the second Titanfall game, which has already been confirmed to be multi-platform.

CFO of EA was at their quarterly financial conference call where he reveal some of the titles that we can expect to see from EA this fiscal year. “What I would say having seen the game is it’s looking fantastic, our relationship with Respawn is extremely strong, we had great fight in that entire team to build a spectacular game and are really looking forward to sharing more details in the months ahead”.
